It’s been a busy week at work, so I went for a walk today, even though it was raining. It was a nice walk, but still kept thinking about creating art. What’s your go to brand of coloured pencils? 🎨 As an artist, I love experimenting with different mediums, and when it comes to realism, coloured pencils are still one of my favourites. I love how precise they allow me to be, and the level of detail is so satisfying. The only downside? From my studio to Bangkok, and now to an international recognition, “𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨” 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨. ♥ This piece was previously exhibited during the 2025 Philippine Independence Day Art Exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand (by The Phil. Embassy in Thailand and Art Show Phils), and later became part of a private collection. I’m so happy to see its journey continue through this international recognition. As a contemporary Filipino artist, this is a special milestone for me.
