An International Art Recognition I’ll Always Treasure

There are moments in an artist’s journey that quietly become milestones— not because they change who you are, but because they remind you why you began creating in the first place.

I’m deeply grateful to share that I received an Art Award from Circle Foundation for the Arts.

As someone who creates from stories, emotions, and everyday moments, this recognition feels incredibly meaningful. Circle Foundation has long been known for supporting artists from different parts of the world and for celebrating diverse creative voices through its international art programs and publications. To have my work acknowledged by an organization that values artistic expression on a global scale is truly an honor.

When I first started painting, I never imagined where art would take me. What began as a personal form of expression gradually became a way to connect with people, through whimsical characters, quiet emotions, and stories that often speak without words. Every artwork carries a piece of my journey, my thoughts, and the moments that inspire me.

This award is not just about a single painting. It is a reminder that creating consistently, even during uncertain seasons, matters. It reminds me that art has the power to travel beyond our own spaces and reach people we may never meet.

I’m especially thankful to Circle Foundation for the Arts for this recognition, and to everyone who has supported my work— fellow artists, collectors, friends, family, and those who simply take a moment to appreciate what I create. Your encouragement has been part of this journey.

As I continue exploring new ideas, styles, and stories on canvas, I hope to keep creating work that feels honest, heartfelt, and uniquely mine.

Here’s to more art, more stories, and more meaningful moments ahead. ♥

With gratitude,

Lyz Dizon
